The Tories Have Built A Lifeboat. It’s Called Restore Britain.

The Conservative Party is in trouble.

Many people say it is dying.

Their plan is not to fight Reform UK head-on at the ballot box.

Instead, they are quietly building something else on the right.

This new thing takes votes from Reform – without the Tories having to compete directly against them.

What is this “lifeboat”?

It has a clear name: Restore Britain.

It has a leader: Rupert Lowe, the MP for Great Yarmouth.

It has money – £2.6 million in the bank.

The big question is: Where did that money come from?

Many in Westminster do not want you to look too closely at the answer.

Why this matters

Restore Britain is a new party on the right of British politics. It wants to appeal to people who feel let down by the big parties.

It focuses on issues like:

•  Strong controls on immigration

•  Putting British people first

•  Law and order

•  Fixing what they see as broken in the country

Some people think the Tories quietly support or help this new group. Why? Because it can pull votes away from Reform UK. That might help the Conservatives in future elections by splitting the right-wing vote.

A simple way to understand it

Think of it like this:

•  Reform UK is growing fast and taking votes from the Tories.

•  Instead of fighting back directly, some say the Tories built a “lifeboat” called Restore Britain.

•  This lifeboat sails close to Reform and quietly takes some of its passengers (voters).

This is called vote splitting. It is a common trick in politics.

The money question

£2.6 million is a lot of money for a new party.

Where it came from could tell us a lot. But right now, not many clear answers are being given. People in Westminster hope you won’t ask too many questions.

What happens next?

Politics on the right is changing quickly.

•  The Conservative Party is weak.

•  Reform UK is strong.

•  Restore Britain is new and growing.

Only time will show if Restore Britain really is a Tory lifeboat – or something completely independent.

Voters will decide at the ballot box.

What do you think?

Keep your eyes open. Ask questions. And always check where the money and the ideas really come from.
